– 2 cups heavy cream – 1 cup whole milk – 3/4 cup granulated sugar – 1 tsp vanilla extract – 1/2 cup crushed pistachios – 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips

Ingredients
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, milk, sugar, and vanilla extract until the sugar is dissolved.
Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions.
In the last 5 minutes of churning, add the crushed pistachios and chocolate chips.
Once churned, transfer the ice cream to a container and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
1. Serve chilled with additional pistachios or chocolate chips on top, if desired.
