Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
In a separate large bowl, combine the melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined.
